Dear all,
The website of the Vladimir Nabokov Museum, St.Petersburg is finally open
at www.nabokovinrussia.org. Again, to all our contributors we apologize for
the delay caused by technical problems. I know that many of you have
already checked our website and we are grateful to all who sent us their
comments.
Some of the recent museum events haven't yet found their way
into the website. Among the most interesting was the lecture given by
Ellendea Proffer, the longtime Ardis publisher. Also, the museum celebrated
its fifth annual Bloomsday festival with Sheamus Heaney as our guest of
honor. This year we're also hosting exhibition of contemporary Irish
art, the first ever in Russia. We are grateful to the
US Consulate in St.Petersburg and to the Irish Embassy for making
these two events possible.
We will keep the list posted of all our future events and we hope to
see all of you in our museum someday!
