Fw: Query re; VDN's library

Body
EDNOTE. The Nabokov family library was conficated and sent to the Leningrad
State Book Fund and at least some volumes ended up on other libraries and on
the market even abroad. The best source of information is L.F.Klimenko's
article "Biblioteka doma Nabokovyx". pp. 193-200 in _Nabokovskii Vestnik_
(St. P.; Dorn, 1998). Her article is devoted mostly to the privately printed
Katalogi of 1904 & 1911. The NYPL library has a copy of both. More work may
have been done since this article. If anyone knows please advise NABOKV-L.

> Dear List,

> A scholar at the Berg Collection at the NYPL is inquiring about the
disposition of VDN's library. Any information as to where the various
remnants landed after the library was dispersed--especially if bulk
institutional holdings are known--will be gratefully passed along. Best
wishes,
