I am unsure that this is appropriate, but I thought that some of you might
know Michael Begnal, Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Penn
State University. He has written a bit on Vladimir Nabokov but is best
known as a Joycean. Today, after being seriously ill for many months, he
passed away.
