I would like to thank Dieter Zimmer for answering my long-winded query (my
enthusiasm for trick-reading and word golf would have been greatly
restrained had I had to hand a copy of Conclusive Evidence, but alas there
seems to be a run on all copies of it at the local (Philadelphia)
libraries) and also for pointing me to his Nabokov genealogy on the Zembla
website: had I known of it earlier, I would have been saved the effort,
though not the fun, of extracting my own diagram from Nabokov's prose.
