Dear Jo,

Alas(s) I was just joking. I thought your "blunders" idea was ridiculous - -
or to be brutally honest - - I thought it was intellectually dishonest and
intentionally misleading. My reference to gender-bending was satiric. You
don't seem very sensitive to tone, not to Nabokov's and not even to mine.
