The link to Dabashi's essay on Reading Lolita in Tehran has generated a flurry of responses which, perhaps inevitably, have begun to veer away from matters related to VN. I suggest that we move away from the political discussion (although of course individuals are welcome to continue it off-List). Thanks for understanding.
