Nova Zembla

On December 1, 2005, Zembla marked its tenth birthday. The current
design of the site dates from 1998. For several years now I have felt
that Zembla could benefit from an overhaul, but have not pursued the
project for lack of time. Currently the Penn State University Libraries,
whose server is home to Zembla, are moving their Web content into a
Content Management System (CMS). The implications of the CMS for Zembla
are unknown, but there will be an opportunity (perhaps even a necessity)
of reworking the site.

Before proceeding, I would like to solicit suggestions from NABOKV-L
subscribers about what they would like to see in the new Zembla.

Which current features of the site do you like and why?
What do you see as shortcomings and why?
What improvements and new features would you suggest?

Please send your comments and suggestions to me directly at
jhe2@psulias.psu.edu .

Thanks very much for your feedback.
