Re the S. Kelly-Bootle/Miale exchange...
The scatological/(eschatological?) echoes are intriguing, although I
would
be surprised if "Life" carried "Prep H" ads. Good rainy day research
project.
The Rabelais "potato" allusion brings to mind Rabelais' immortal
discourse on
the relative merits of corn cobs and such.
