I believe a search of the archives will unearth a brief discussion from 2003
or 2004 in which it was postulated that PF might have a partial genesis in
VN's reading of RF's "New Hampshire.' Nothing much came of it at the time,
but perhaps a new look at the matter will reveal something of interest.
