On March 1 at 6 p.m. SPb time we will run another online seminar. This time we will speak about the Nabokovs as translators. Not only Vladimir and Dmitri but also other family members did literary translations which makes the Nabokovs an exceptional family in the history of literature. How did they become translators? Was there something similar in their approach to translation? Did their approach reflect the changes in the concept of literary translation that occurred in the 20th century?
